System Application and Engineering Pavement Design
-
Pavement Management System
-
Pathway Pavement Condition Survey Vehicle. A vehicle that is equipped to measure the longitudinal roadway profile in order to calculate pavement roughness (IRI), rut depth, surface wear, joint and cracking faults all utilized to make a Pavement Distress Survey.
-
Falling Weight Deflectometer. FWD equipment is used to analyze pavement structure capabilities for maintenance and rehabilitation strategies. The FWD evaluates the pavements bearing capacity by analyzing its load and deflection capacities.
-
MU-Meter to evaluate the pavements friction index. The friction number is a safety pavement condition level and is used for the evaluation of maintenance and rehabilitation strategies.
